Throughout my doctoral studies I have actively sought to participate in/ lead activities to advance the student experience at the Telfer School of Management and beyond. Select activities include:

Student Representative- Executive Committee of the Health Care Management Division at the Academy of Management
August 2022- Present
I was appointed to this role by the Executive Committee of the Health Care Management (HCM) division at the Academy of Management (AOM). In this role I am responsible for ensuring that the HCM division offers programming that is complementary to the interests of graduate students as well as participating in advancing HCM as a division within AOM at-large.

Graduate Student Representative- Dean Search Committee- Telfer School of Management
March 2020- October 2020
I was elected to this position to represent the interests of all graduate students at the Telfer School of Management (MSc, MBA, MHA, PhD) on the search committee to appoint a new Dean to Telfer School of Management.

President & Vice President (Academic)- Telfer Graduate Research Programs Student Association
2019-2021
I was elected by the MSc and PhD students at the Telfer School of Management to serve as their President (2019-2020) and Vice President Academic (2020-2021). In this role I was responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the student association as well as voicing student opinions/ concerns as a voting member on several committees including: Telfer’s School Council, as well the Graduate Research Programs Committee.

Organizer & Emcee- Telfer Graduate Research Programs Thesis Competition
2020 & 2022
As part of my role on the Telfer Graduate Research Programs Student Association, I led the organization, development and execution of the Telfer Graduate Research Programs Thesis Competition. As part of this responsibility I had to develop and organize the call for abstract, develop evaluation criteria for the abstracts and presentations and ensure the event ran smoothly on MS Teams. The event was sponsored by the Dean’s office with $6k in prizes for the winners as well as an additional $3k technology budget for competition participants (i.e., $200/ participant). In 2020 I was also the Emcee of the event.
